ECI Showcases at the 35th Harbin International Fair: Empowering Education to Link the Future of Malaysia and China

The 35th Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair (referred to as the "Harbin Fair") was grandly held and successfully concluded from May 17 to 21. Malaysia was invited to serve as the Country of Honor for the first time. Led by Loh Sze Yee, the Perak State Executive Councillor for Tourism, Industry, Investment, and Corridor Development, the Malaysian delegation featured 54 enterprises and brands at the Malaysia National Pavilion. Hosted by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government and organized by the Malaysia-China Culture and Tourism Promotion Association, the pavilion showcased the new face of Malaysia's diverse industrial development to the international market.
As the only higher education service platform in the Malaysian delegation this year, ECI Higher Education Sdn Bhd was honored to join the largest-ever Malaysia National Pavilion. Through this opportunity, ECI comprehensively promoted Malaysian educational resources and opportunities for further studies to Northeast China.
With the Malaysian government actively promoting the "Malaysia My Second Home" (MM2H) program, sectors such as education, real estate, and tourism have gradually formed a mutually reinforcing development pattern. At this year's Harbin Fair, the Malaysia Pavilion not only gathered high-quality real estate projects, featured industries, and tourism resources, but exhibitors also looked forward to providing more comprehensive supporting services for individuals interested in developing careers, studying, and living in Malaysia through educational cooperation. Participating as a representative of Malaysia's education service sector, ECI injected new momentum into Malaysia-China educational exchanges.
During the exhibition, ECI not only introduced Malaysian university resources, international enrollment cooperation, and further education planning services to visitors from all over the world, but also brought the "Education Planner Empowerment Program" to Harbin for the first time. The program aims to cultivate more professionals who are familiar with the international education system. Through further education counseling, university applications, and the integration of educational resources, it provides more systematic education planning services for students and families, while also opening up a brand-new development platform for educators, training institutions, and individuals aspiring to enter the education industry.
Notably, ECI was interviewed by students from the Heilongjiang College of Tourism and Commerce and carried out educational promotion through the school's live-streaming platform. This further expanded the influence of Malaysian education brands in China and laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two sides in vocational education, international exchanges, and talent cultivation.
Looking forward, ECI will continue to leverage its platform advantages in connecting Malaysian and Chinese educational resources to promote international recruitment cooperation, institutional brand communication, and academic exchange programs. ECI looks forward to taking the Harbin Fair as an opportunity to further deepen multi-dimensional cooperation among industry, academia, and research, working hand in hand with the government, universities, and industrial partners to contribute to the cultural exchanges and high-quality development of both countries.
Malaysian HTF Delegation Visits Heilongjiang Vocational College of Tourism
Jointly hosted by the Heilongjiang Vocational College of Tourism (hereinafter referred to as "HVCT") and the Harbin Daowai District Baroque Chamber of Commerce, the event titled "Vocational Education Skills Exhibition and Exchange Activities" was held at the Chinese Baroque Historical Cultural Preservation Areas. The event brought together government representatives, educational circles, and cultural tourism personnel from both Malaysia and China to jointly engage in exchanges surrounding topics such as vocational education, cultural tourism, and international cooperation.
